A 30-year-old woman gambles with a high-stakes surgery that could either leave her permanently blind or cure her color blindness, fulfilling a childhood dream to finally see the color pink.
Pink has traditionally been associated with materialism and femininity, perpetuating a stereotype that women are inherently drawn to this color. However, our protagonist subverts this notion by yearning to see the color pink, not for its aesthetic appeal or emotional resonance, but to understand why it’s so deeply ingrained in societal expectations of women.
Our protagonist’s journey is a quest for self-discovery and a challenge to societal norms. She seeks to uncover the truth behind pink’s connection to femininity and what it represents in our culture.
